I don't teach English to people, but I have had jobs in teaching at a tertiary level.
No one wants to hear about lawn care, paper routes, or hypnosis. Exeperience in hypnosis has no relevance to teaching. You can try to convince yourself otherwise, but no one is going to see that and think it an advantagous skill set.
