Since you asked, I'll bold what I think applies to you. I will not, however, fish through this cluster- of a thread you started to find each and every example of what gives me cause to believe it a possible diagnosis. Even I have to admit that some of your behavior in this thread seems a little psychotic, therefore contravening such a diagnosis, but currently, to my non-professional mind, the diagnosis falls straight upon Occam's Razor.
Parenthetical text, bolded or otherwise, is mine.

People with classic schizotypal personalities are apt to be loners, having few to no intimate relationships. They exhibit extreme anxiety in social situations, often associated more with distrust and an inability to communicate with others than with a negative self-image (See Avatar - both literally negative and an inappropriate affect with the head tilted on a bias and a blank expression). They view themselves as alien or outcast, and this isolation causes pain as they disengage more and more from relationships and the outside world. (While it seems you are engaging the outside world, the very vehicle you have chosen seems only to have further alienated you and made you the object of scorn and ridicule.)

(Current Avatar)
People with schizotypal personalities often have odd patterns of speech and ramble endlessly on tangents to a topic of conversation. They may dress in peculiar ways and have very strange ways of viewing the world around them. Often they harbor unusual ideas, such as believing in the powers of ESP or a sixth sense. At times, they believe they can magically influence people's thoughts, actions and emotions.
In adolescence, signs of a schizotypal personality may begin as a gravitation toward solitary activities or a high level of social anxiety. The child may be an underperformer in school or appear socially out-of-step with peers, and as a result often becomes the subject of bullying or teasing.
Symptoms of schizotypal personality disorder include:
* Incorrect interpretation of events, including feeling that external events have personal meaning
* Peculiar thinking, beliefs or behavior
* Belief in special powers, such as telepathy
* Perceptual alterations, in some cases bodily illusions, including phantom pains or other distortions in the sense of touch
* Idiosyncratic speech, such as loose or vague patterns of speaking or tendency to go off on tangents (Such as is seen in your writing)
* Suspicious or paranoid ideas
* Flat emotions or inappropriate emotional responses
* Lack of close friends outside of the immediate family (If you had these, you probably wouldn't behave like such an ass.)
* Persistent and excessive social anxiety that doesn't abate with time
Schizotypal personality disorder can easily be confused with schizophrenia, which is characterized by intense psychosis, a severe mental state characterized by a loss of contact with reality. While people with schizotypal personalities may experience brief psychotic episodes with delusions or hallucinations, they are not as pronounced, frequent or intense as in schizophrenia.
Another key distinction between schizotypal personality disorder and schizophrenia is that people with the personality disorder usually can distinguish between their distorted ideas and reality. Those with schizophrenia generally can't be swayed from their delusions.

You can put that one in bold too. He has stated repeatedly that he believes in magic. The "mystical reiki master" on his resume confirms it. |

I'll keep this salient.

What actions. If someone misinterprets something, it isn't the act that is at fault, it is the faculty of the person misinterpreting. |
You see? You ing see? This is exactly what I mean. Misinterpretations can happen for many, many different reasons and either party can be at fault. It can be a communication problem, or it can be an interpretation problem. There's no way any logical person can say that all misinterpretations are blamed on the interpreting party. But your ed-up, naive little world view says exactly that. This is a failure to understand causality when it comes to errors of communication. And it s up your basic communication with people. We've seen it time after time in this thread. |

Which people am I not being intimate with that I should be?
Where is the missed opportunity that I'm not aware of?

I have a positive self image, as others were just complaining; my ego is stated as "too large". Although, if you look at many posts made by others on this site, people attacking my body's appearance is a common occurrence from the same flock of trolls that you propose alienate me. Fact is, I'm not alienated, if I don't associate with them. We are not the same people. They don't have the same standards social morality that I do. Frankly, they are bad people. If they out, or alienate myself, this is a good thing. This doesn't mean I don't associate with other people on the website. I've contacted a number of people during my time on this website for a variety of reasons, likewise a variety of people have contacted me. I get along just fine with them.
How am I suppose to smile with no one saying "cheeze". Give me a break, and I suppose to be all excited every time I take the billionth picture of myself.
See above. I don't need to change myself to fit into a group of people I don't like. Not everyone on the website fits that description, only about 12 people. There are hundreds of people registered to this website.

disengage more and more from relationships and the outside world |
Which relationships have I disengaged from?
I go out pretty much every day. I do my own shopping; I take in the odd attraction. How is this disengaged from the world? While I do have financial limits on how much I can interact due to the cost of gas, or entry prices to some places, it doesn't mean I don't do stuff. There is a finite limit to the things that I enjoy doing and those things that are available to me. Except to very few people in society this is generally the case.

Being ridiculed in an immature way for how I present myself, by the same people that ridicule many, doesn't cast me as someone who is deserving of ridicule. Eddie you yourself were ridiculed for the Wizard BS, so I don't see your point.

I like the look of inversions. It is more interesting to look at. It is not that I don't want to look at myself, the inversion just looks cooler.

A lot of people support things like ESP or sixth sense. It has been studied by many a psychology studies. The military has researched and implemented it. Bodies do send electromagnetic signals. Technology exists now that you can pilot things or issue commands from brain wave interpretation. Where is the evidence ESP or a sixth sense doesn't exist? There is tons of literature on it.

Yes bullying and teasing is acceptable behaviour, but being bullied isn't. Does that sound right to you?

Can you give examples of this? For those that you can give examples for demonstrate why the external event did not have personal meaning.
What are some examples of peculiar thinking, beliefs, or behaviour?
| quote: | | * Idiosyncratic speech, such as loose or vague patterns of speaking or tendency to go off on tangents (Such as is seen in your writing) |
How so? I speak and write just fine, in easily understood English.
Also I have tended to exercise less caution in postings on informal web forums.
| quote: | | * Suspicious or paranoid ideas |
That is a heading, that heading can't be understood? Communication is like that. What paranoid ideas do I have, that someone has taken advantage of my computer system? I've been hacked on a number of occasions in the past. It happening now would not be in the realm of paranoia - actually the fact I'm not concerned about it, doesn't demonstrate paranoia at all. So what paranoia is there?
| quote: | | * Flat emotions or inappropriate emotional responses |
How are my feelings wrong? Tell me how I'm supposed to feel.
Most people would say I am too emotional - not flat.
Also if in some cases I just don't care - so what. If I'm not evoked by something that you are, it doesn't mean I'm supposed to be evoked. People have different emotional triggers. While some experiences can provoke generalized response - depending on environmental conditioning those feelings can be overidden. A baby may cry in a room full of deathcore, yet a deathcore head probably would be all "yeah", or "ain't that badass". What are some of these examples of inappropriate emotional responses?
| quote: | | * Lack of close friends outside of the immediate family |
That is untrue, and some reasons are stated above. Where are the people I am supposed to have as close friends who aren't?
| quote: | | (If you had these, you probably would behave like such an ass.) |
Is this way of stating people like PKC and Moral Hazard have no friends? Moral said he has a friend who is a cop, how can your belief that asses can't have friends. There are lots of people that I can communicate with, as far as close friends, as stated I travel, and people have jobs. A bunch of people I have been close with in the past kept on with destructive behaviour so I limited my contact with them. Meanwhile other people I still communicate with but syncing up our schedules can be difficult. It doesn't mean we can't do something, but it has been reduced to more or less when there is something notable. In many cases I just don't hang out much because I don't like being in a smoke filled room, or around alcohol because I don't drink responsibly, and I recognize that when I'm sober. This isn't always the case but it is more or less that I've had a bunch of friends who are all party party, and I'm not into that all too much anymore. I like intellectual stuff and making music or being out in nature. People seldom have the chance to take a week off work, and it is just impractical since I am usually out of country or 1000KM's from old acquaintances. It is far too financially taxing to keep in touch physically with people I meet. I still do stuff, and I still have people I'd consider as non distanced relationships. I have valid non behavioural reasons for this. It is mostly available time and money, and interest. I'm not fake.

That is a moot point, and it is clear you are all conjecture rather than substance. I am firmly in touch with "reality". BTW how would you define reality? You know different cultures have different world views. I guess you just say your view is the right one and everyone else is wrong. That is it right? |
