It was other people who restricted my freedoms who created the problem.
See the difference. I was acting lawfully. They were acting in a way which infringed my fundamental rights.
There ain't more to it. |
^ Will, the fact that you see yourself as entirely blameless and that the clerk, manager, cop, court officers, etc were all working together to deny you your rights speaks volumes about your mental state. Surely, even you must have the occasional moment of clarity... I really hope that the next time you're lucid you understand that you need help and you take the appropriate steps to get it. |

Really? My impression is that you are trying to create fault, when if you were able to carry on a discussion with me then it is very clear I am able to communicate. I have had no difficulties with doing so. My only problem is individuals such as yourself who try to attack others without grounds.

Even your resume, as you seem to be completely unaware of how a potential employer will understand the Stone Reiki Master thing. |
What the is wrong with stone Reiki masters? What that I smoke a whole bunch of weed and play with rocks? Or that I'm interested in metaphyiscal new age medicine? What is wrong with new agers?

When did I say they were working together? You are the one who said that.
Dude I'm lucid now. The facts I have stated are.
1. Tracy and Mary lied about me pushing Mary.
2. The cop didn't take the time to communicate effectively.
3. The judge screwed up. (not mentioned was that I wasn't allowed to present my defence while I was on the stand, as I had a prepared defence but wasn't allowed to reference the prepared legal points while I was presenting myself but still my representative. So I couldn't actually raise the legal points as I hadn't memorized all the legal points and instead prepared a case to work from but was denied access to the documents while on the stand. Different point but it is one of those inequalities in the case that sticks in my mind. Being disallowed to present my defence was unfortunate. The judge really screwed up by stating I said something I didn't while she was giving her synopsis.
I never laid blame on the manager. It was the clerk who failed to involve her, or pass the situation on to her supervisor by introducing the two of us directly.
There were definitely inequalities and mistakes made by them, whether this is intentional or not is hard to say, except for the first two items. |

This is a prime example as you missed my point. First, I was not trying to attack you, but point out a problem I believe you're having, mostly for your benefit. And there's nothing wrong with Stone Reiki Masters, but employers will get a certain unprofessional image of you by that. I will not try to explain this any further, everyone in this thread has told you the same thing, proving that people clearly do perceive you in such a way. And you really seem to be unable to understand how that happens and how you could present yourself in a better light. |

What makes you think that employers want someone who smokes cannabis? Have you not considered that new agers have a reputation for being lazy and unreliable? Though this may not be true in your case, you have to think about what you're communicating to your employer, who may have different prejudices to you. |

Hi Meat187
What is your real name, where do you live, what do you do?
Is there any particular reason you don't want to share those details?
Now, why is it that I should trust your opinion?
The opinion of some anonymous fleck in cyberspace? |

No, and I don't agree with that stereotype, I find them to be highly creative, accepting, and cheerful.

Hey you know what I don't want a stressful work environment day in and day out. If the employer can't chill out and treats me like I'm minding a nuclear power plant then maybe you think it's possible I don't want to work for that type of employer. That is the whole reason I quit my job to take time to figure my life out back in 2001.
I'm a pretty edgy person I don't want an environment that will provoke me to be honest with people about them being idiots or s. Can you sort of clue into this.
I'm looking to share my knowledge and experiences, not manage a mutual fund. |

Will, you clearly are not lucid, as if you were then you would realize that the situation you found yourself in was entirely of your making. YOU could have stopped the chain of events as soon as they started, YOU exercised exceedingly poor judgement, and YOU are the author of your own misfortune. Did other people influence what happened, sure, but the chain of events was initiated and continued only through YOUR actions. |

There is no reason to trust in my opinion or that of countless others in this thread other than that it is honest and well-meaning. You're entitled to do whatever you want with your life and if you're happy with everything then there's no need to change a thing. If, however, you wish to change some things, like getting a certain job, then you might want to listen to people who give you advice on it, especially if your own course of actions doesn't seem to lead to the desired goal. :) |

You clearly don't know the meaning of the word lucid.

Hey 1 or 2 minutes ain't a lot of time to stop the bomb.

I am not accountable for other peoples actions as an individual sorry try again. People make their own choices.
Lets see. Moral go back in time and shut yourself up 4 days ago and keep it up for the rest of your life. Or rather
Moral Hazard then went back in time stopped himself from replying to the flamebait resume advice thread and never replied to anything relating on ******** on Trance Addict ever again. And they all lived happily ever after.

I am not the center of the universe, sorry try again.
While I believe in equality I also believe in accountability for the actions someone takes. Just because something happens it doesn't always mean they intended it to happen. Eg you may not be aware of things. For instance with I think Mrs. Nichols / Nicholson the lawyer who initially was against me who I may have caused her son to go partially deaf in grade 6 - I didn't know anything about deafness when it happened.. I did know it was loud, but fired the cap gun many times with no ill effects to myself. He asked me to let him hear it.. I said are you sure.. its loud, then I may have asked a second time. he confirmed yes, So I fired the gun next to his head. He squels out loud I get into major trouble for it, he ends up with an implant, get my cap gun confiscated by the principal, and his mother and father have a little talking to me. Fact is Mrs. Nichols / Nicholson may have very well treated things biased against me because of what happened to her son Michael. Yet she still acted against me as a public prosecutor in a different case before a justice of the peace in a clear conflict of interest. While it may not be the same Mrs. Nichols / Nicholson, you never know things could come back against you - even if you didn't intend harm, or even know that harm could have resulted, people might still blame you for what you don't know. Humans arn't blessed with being all knowing of the outcome of their actions. Holding them accountable to that is a little backward, but once you know it, doing it is when the real ethical problem exists that you should be accountable for. Perjury isn't a one time thing, it is something that continues.
People make mistakes but we have the oppourtunity not to continue a mistake.
And yes the original Mrs. N was a lawyer. |

Don't you think you have an influence on how people react to you?
Imagine the cigarette thing, but consider what would have happened if not you but any other poster in this thread had conducted the situation, let's say starting at the point where you're asked for an ID but can't provide. Would everyone have reacted the way you did? Would everyone get arrested? I believe no one else would get arrested or get in any trouble whatsoever. Most would even walk out of the store with the desired pair of cigs. Why not you? Seriously, ask yourself that question. Why were you unable to take actions that kept you out of trouble and achieved your goal? |
