Leaving for Yankee stadium in a couple of hours,,,Sasha wants to get there early for batting practice..She wants to see if she can get Melke's signature...
I've never looked forward to a game more in my life,,If A-Rod gets #500 today it's gonna be the best birthday present ever (as long as we win though)....
I'll post pics later.... |

That would be awesonme to see. Though it would have been hot if he hit it last night giving everyone a hit yesterday!!! What the hell 56 runs in there last 5 home games or some .
The bats finally woke up.....but for how long.
How about Scottie being traded for an "infielder" aka "3rd baseman to replace A-rod when he jumps ship next year"
PS you should get a free Yankees CD case today as well....I am sure Sasha is going to love it :) |

yeha whats up with our bats, I love it!!
Everyone at work is complaining that a-rod didnt get his homer, and I ma like: "how cares, other people are doing it for him!!" I could care less as long as the team is doing well. A-rod will get it eventually.
I need to get to another game soon. |

I never said I thought Betemit could replace A-Rod (skills wise, etc)but I don't think the Yankees are dumb enough to think there isn't a posability that 3rd base might be open next year and why not get someone that is good in the infield as well as with the bat in case there is an opening. I am sure if A-Rod leaves the Yanks next year they will pick up someone to replace him besides Betemit....but its always good to have back up right? |

That was going to be my response. Replace the best player in the game with a former Dodger utility infielder who's hitting .230
I think not. |

I'm just saying... if A-Rod opts out, there is no way the Yankees go into 2008 with Betemit as their everyday 3rd baseman. I'll eat my shorts with extra ketchup if they do.
He'll be a utility infielder, that's it. All these "analysts" on ESPN are saying that he may replace A-Rod. That's ridiculous. |
