He's only 23 years old. He's only pitched less than 100 major league innings. In 2005, his ERA was 2.61 in AA. And last year, before being called up, his ERA was 2.70 in AAA. |

Okajima is pulled after recording an out... Gagne comes in, gives up a 2R HR. Francona needs to stick to this philosophy. :D |

| Nice to have Giambi back... I was afraid we'd mess up the chemistry in the lineup bringing him back, like what happened last year w/ Matsui and Sheff. If Torre takes out Melky for any reason at this point to play Damon(who's been DH'ing) in CF and slotting Giambi in as DH, he should be fired on the spot... |

Giambi will mess up the line up...As much as I like the guy he isnt ready to walk back into the team.... |

hah....well im happy they decided to win a game that i watched. i decided not to watch yesterday for the sake of every other yankees fan, but i couldn't ignore it today.
As a side note, this is probably one of the most balanced baseball seasons i can remember. There isn't a single race that is decided at this point. The biggest lead in any playoff race is 5 games in the AL east. This is going to be a very exciting september. |
