That game was so bad until the 8th inning. I like the fact that in the last two games papelbon has pitched against the yankees he's blown the game.
Oh yeah....giambi is absolutely horrible. torre needs to stop putting him in the field. |

Awesome comeback! The faces of the boston fans in Fenway were priceless.
I would love to say that the Yanks sweep the series, but they are already on a streak. And after they looked tonight, the next 2 games are probably going to be too close to call. |

And here we are...
Bashing the out of Damon and Abreu, and yet they are producing like crazy. Cant say they are a model of consistency, but they are pretty clutch.
What a beautiful comeback it was.
PS: I hope this new Yankee blood will be the kryptonite to the Angels we so desperately need. |

| Case closed in my book, Josh Beckett should win the AL Cy Young. Not only are his numbers excellent, but he brought his A game after a horrible loss last night. The kid has some serious talent. |

A great, albeit frustrating, game tonight. Schilling really only made two mistakes that Cano and Jeter happened to hit home runs on, which really sucked. Also, Rivera shouldn't get flak for walking Tek and Pedroia - both put in great at bats.
This game was a perfect example of why these teams are so good. Such great pitching and so many great at bats. I hope we meet again in the alcs. |

Mo is starting to give me regular heart attacks. sheesh.
yey for mah boy jeter tonight ;)
great game to watch in anycase, and I am also loving the hell outta chamberlain. His energy is so contagious....we need that spirit on the team again. His pitching aint bad, either ;) ;) |

I agree. Sabathia will get a ton of votes though, especially since he's been so dominant of late. One of them will definitely win it. |

I think the fact that beckett is pitching for boston will help him. boston is clearly the biggest baseball town in the US, so he gets more exposure and there is also tons of support from boston and the northeast (the most important baseball market). on top of that, boston gets the national spotlight more frequently than cleveland because they play the yankees twice as much. If people don't think that means anything just look at orlando cabrera. the kid should win the gold glove at short stop every year, but because jeter gets more exposure he wins. And as much as i love jeter, he simply isn't better than cabrera in the field. |

If by Josh Beckett you meant Johan Santana, then I agree. |
