wow...that's an interesting statement. Cano not consistent?!?!? Are you kidding? You can't bat .340 and be inconsistent. He's in a slump, and all players go into slumps. You must remember he's only 24 years old. The kid will get better.
If it wasn't for A-Rod's april, we would have only 13-15 wins this season. |

Agreed. It's a tough sell to argue that the person who leads baseball in home runs and RBIs needs to go - As for Cano, he has far too much upside for the Yankees to consider trading or not resigning him. |

| Do Yankee fans expect every player to bat .350 with 30 home runs and 100 RBI? |

hahah! we may wish but we dont expect it!!
On another note, I was at the game yesterday and I think we may have had to restrain our entire section from going down on the feild to beat the hell outta Cano. I am down with one mistake, but when you have 3 that lets 4-5 runs in, its just not going to make an entire section of YANKEES fans too happy. btw, wtf were all the mets fans yesterday? the entire top section was like 50/50! Had to talk more on friday lol. |

goooo yankee! :D lol that makes me wish i was there yesterday in that section as well. eheh. I would have probably LED the brigade. rofl.
and yes exactly my point...u have to play as well defensively as you do in hitting runs etc. when I see Cano strike out multiple times (3 in one game)...or madd errors? give me a in break
well ok, he *is* consistent huh? sure, ok, but PREVENT the other team other team FROM scoring so we can hold on to our lead.

he's not inconsistent right now. Cano is consistently not getting a hit. It's not like one week he's ripping it up and the next he's not; that's inconsistency. He's in a genuine slump. This is the first slump i can remember him being in since the end of his first year. |

not the players fault that george pays them crazy amounts of money. they didn't sign a contract saying they would be close to god-like. too much pressure in nyc if you ask me |
