great pics,,shame we lost.....You both look great in your tops....When Sheila and myself go to games people come up to us and wonder how our relationship works.....Yankees fans come up to me and say "what the you doing with her"...Red Sox fans go up to Sheila and say "what the are you doing with him"....It's all good fun,,,but only when the Yankees are winning..... |

see, when i read that, i thought, "well its ONLY baseball" but I know a LOT of ppl that would say that and MEAN it.
its good u two both have a sense of humor about things...:p and YES only when the Yankees are winning.
then again we saw a LOT of ppl who were in multi-team pairs/groups (sporting yankees and redsox jerseys) this weekend. |

Well its still early in the season so im not worried. If teh yanks played how they did in sept. that weekend would be in for the suck!

**shruggs** i guess let them do that...im through and through a NEW YORK FAN I can cheer for whichever team brings US to the World Series. I have historically been known to cheer for the underdog in most cases...and in a way, the METS are the underdog since they have yet to win anything in recent years...Right now, i hate to say it but the METS are on FIRE.
and tru not sure why the Yanks are messing up. as they have all acknowledged, its something they need to work on..but im sure they will work out.
for me the SUBWAY WORLD SERIES would be the ULTIMATE...i would LOVE to see BOTH teams advance...and of course for us to st0mp out the Red SOCKS as part of the journey
then again, METS vs. Red Sox as a World Series would DEF be a showdown as well (sorry this is from my nostalgic days as a diehard METS fan back in the 80s). the Mets have been building their team since they hit rock bottom a few years back so they would SO deserve it if it came to that.
i guess in the end, it will be the team who is hungrier for it...and who will work the best together to not f*ck it up when it counts (come September) |
