That's impressive..I've only bin to Fenway,,Shea and Yankee Stadium...I'm surprised that Camden Yards aint top however...Most people that I speak to would put it as number one.. |
PNC takes the nod over Camden Yards since it's smaller and more intimate and the view past the outfield is incredible.
They're both excellent ballparks in their own right. |

Agreed. The Fens is #1 and the only stadium that can legitimately challenge it's greatness is Wrigley.
RFK used to be very similar in terms of energy - my Dad always said that in the late 80s, early 90s there was not a louder venue in sports. With the fans jumping up and down on the steel seats screaming "We Want Dallas!" Of course now the Skins have moved to an abominable stadium and haven't been legitimately good for 15 years while RFK remains old, outdated and only used for MLS games. |
great fan vibe does not necessarily mean a great venue. |

especially after yelling in the 3rd baseman's ear. Haha...that was funny. It seems to me arod is kind of a dirty little player: this and the infamous boston ball swat. I can't really hate though.
A sweep of boston would do wonders for moral.
Oh yeah...wtf is up with Youk? This dude is for real. I was definitely a non-believer (probably because his protruding chin drives me crazy), but he is no joke this year. Although he did start off well last year and then slipped off at the end of last year (admittedly not this well). so i guess we'll have to look out for that. |

it's okay, a little puff puff will make you not give a .
Although I feel pretty good about tonight considering we have wang and they have wakefield. We usually do a number on him. |

I thought tonight would have been a good opportunity to bring in Clemens and so did Sheila...Wakefield is their weakest link and I just think Wang is wasted against him..Unless Torre is just looking to pick up the one certain victory.... |

moving pitchers out of their spot in the rotation is a little touchy because then everyone else gets bump down a day (which can throw off rhythm) or you have to skip wang altogether (which certainly isn't something we want).
we have mussina (v. schilling) and pettitte (v. beckett) going for us the next days so it isn't that bad. I don't think we'll see a replay of shilling's debacle, but i think Beckett is due for loss number 1, which may happen given pettitte is opposite him. |

| Oh....let me add. don't be too disappointed when clemens doesn't post a sub-4 era this year. He definitely lost some stuff, and the NL central was the probably the weakest division in baseball, offensively, the last 3 years. |

my prediction for his first start against a punchless white sox offense:
6.0 IP, 2 ER, 5 Hits, 6 Ks |
