there's a little more detail in it than that, but you're right. we took a litter box and put it next to the toilet... then each day put another magazine under it till it was at the same height as the toilet. Then we put it in the toilet. We were using those disposable ones and they fit perfectly under the lid without touching the water. We cut a hole in the center of the litter box, and every 5 days or so made the hole a little bit bigger until only the edges were left... then we could just take it out because the cats were used to balancing on the seat by then anyway. No more litter, no more annoying smells, no more vacuuming up the little pieces of litter from the carpet. |

They're not supposed to be taught to flush, apparently they get a big kick out of it, and will flush 100x without caring what it's doing to your water bill :p |

no... it's too complicated to teach them. I tried at first, taking their paw immediately after going to the bathroom and pushing the handle with it, followed up with some cat treats, but all that produced was them going into the bathroom all the time and pushing the handle over and over hoping to get something tasty. :stongue:
I was like, it... using the toilet is enough. I'll just flush it myself. |

| Ehhhh...my landlord does. I love my apartment. It's the nicest and most up to date out of all the other units here. :) |

| Is that your place with Jimmy or did you move already that you're talking about? |

No my own place that I've been in for 2 years. The house I'll be moving into with Jimmy is 3 times the size of my apartment, lol. And it has a pool. :toocool:
God I'm actually really pumped for it. Should be within the next couple months. :) |

| Oh you two are finally gonna live together! Sick! Is it as centrally located as the current place? Because that is one of the awesome things about the place. |

| Now I'm confused - I thought you two DID live together, but now you were going to go to school and move away so you weren't going to live together anymore... but you guys have been living separately this whole time? |

I wish! I love my location. :/
Jimmy's old place (where we'll be moving) is uptown, probably a half hour from here on foot. It's in a great neighbourhood though, and it's still close to everything. My main concern is public transit since I have to move away from work and ...but his place is near one of the busiest streets in town, which means more convenient bus service/more options.
Lol, it's gonna take us a while to furnish the place! 4 bedrooms and a finished basement. |
