Thought it looked vaguely familiar :p It's been a while since I've partied in the city.
There are some pretty cool bars over there on Eagle St. |

Neither, dont go out in the CBD to party other than just to have a few pints or drinks at Pig to watch the Premiership football before walking over to either Family or Barsoma for the music. |

True, true. The Valley crowd has become so sceney now anyway. It wasn't always like that. It used to be a really cool, alternative area, with interesting clubs and no attitude. Mind you, that was 10 or 11 years ago :p

In other words, it's now become another Sydney. |

Sydney was probably cool in the late 90s too :p
Man, I miss the wicked big-beat nights. So much fun :( |

Lol, no. The Beat never used to be that big, it was only a couple of smallish rooms back then. And upstairs was (maybe still is?) a gay club with top 40 dance remixes.
Do you know the little club room upstairs at Ric's Cafe? That used to have some of the BEST bigbeat every Friday and Saturday night, back in 97/98/99. Katch and Dave FTW, they were awesome.
No dress code, no bull, just wicked tunes until 5am. Then we'd go next door and have breakfast at Fatboys :tongue2 |

| I'm finding it impossible to actually find a single club I like anymore. Everywhere I go is just depressing =/ |

Yeah, I hear you.
I tend to like the loungier type places now. Chilled/relaxed atmosphere > DANCEYOURFACEOFF clubs.
Man, I'm feeling so old today :stongue: |
