That's what I was going for! I was going for feeling very homey but with more modern colors - the orange/sun peach colors, etc. Thank you for the compliment :D
The kitchen we'll redo sometime next year - costs too much right now. Plus, we just discovered that they don't make ovens in the size we have anymore (1960s) so we have to freaking either special order a new one, or wait until we redo our kitchen and get a pimp oven... so there goes our xmas present from his parents :(
Kad - we thought about doing it on the floor but we didn't like the look, plus it's uncomfortable on your feet (we stood on it to check lol). Most people do it on the floor because the pebbles are really expensive - but we saw it on the walls of a restaurant and fell in love with the look! We WERE going to do 3/4 walls of pebbles around the whole bathroom, but it would have ended up costing us like two grand more, so we stuck with just the walls of the shower. There's a glass wall & glass door like in the other bathroom in that bathroom now too :) |
