Vlad, you're doing nursing now? I hate to break it to you, but it's just as physically draining, if not more, lol. |
Well, Im not in yet, I have to kill one semester before I could apply for the program... so Im just taking whatever prereq's were left for it that I didnt already take in my other school. Im not just gonna be an RN though, Im gonna go for my masters as a CRNA, which I dont think is as draining as being a regular RN. |

I'll stick to a medical career without blood.
kthx.
or dead things. |

Woo!
ps
I dissected a cat in high school biology, I think we started with a worm (hardest thing ever to dissect btw) went to a Starfish, then a frog, then a cat. The cat was the worst, it was the smell. |

| Frenchie |
| I'd make him the father of my children. Just saying. |

Dexter is absolutely freaking awesome. The dry humour behind it all, it's impossible to dislike him. I'm a bit wary of them already booking 2 more seasons though, want to hope it stays good and doesn't end up getting stale & watered down
pps. We disected a frog and put the pieces into the schools heating system. Then we added liver a few weeks later. Insane ;) |

I know you aren't doing it but RN and LPN's are extremely hard to get into. You need to have atleast a 3.7 in your pre clinicals so you can be accepted into the program.
Nuts. That's extremely competitive but LAGCC is one of the few schools where you *may* have a chance to study it without being put on a waiting list.
Alot of you dissected loads of stuff. I did the worm 9th grade and the frog in 10th. That was all. |

Yea, I dissected a fetal pig in HS, but its horrible and you cant see . |
I did this in high school as well. there is nothing like arriving at biology class on a tuesday afternoon right after lunch late in spring quarter and opening the ziploc bag that has held your half dissected fetal pig over the three day weekend in your non-airconditioned school when the outside temps were above 80F all weekend. yum. that is a smell I won't ever forget
on a more amusing note, we were able to convince a slightly mentally insane kid in the class to take the $50 we collected in pooled funds to chew up and swallow someones pig's kidney |
