That's what it was, the piloting thing. See, I knew it was for something.
And as far as how I'm doing, I'll just copy/paste an update I made earlier this week:
Sorry it took me so long to post... I'm still alive. I had the surgery a few weeks ago... surgery went ok, they cut out a lot of stuff, it was post surgery that wasn't so good. I remember feeling really sick and in pain... and I called the nurse in and she brought me stuff for being sick, and stuff for pain. I told her I didn't want the whole dose of pain medicine because I didn't want to be all loopy... good thing I said that- because literally... I got the 1/2 a dose, and my heart stopped beating. My boyfriend said my eyes just rolled into the back of my head and 5 people ran into the room with a crash cart trying to get my heart to start beating again. The recovery time took about 2 weeks... in which time I found out my boss is a mega bitch (saying that if she knew it was going to take me so long to recover she would have told me to post pone the surgery).
They want me to do some alternative medicine, but after I found out about the side effects (permanent bone loss, memory loss, mental disorders, pain coming back 4x fold, people losing their jobs from the side affects, etc, and my increased risk of getting those side affects from my previous medical history (74% higher), and the fact that after 10 yrs women were still suffering from side affects - I said no way). I told my dr I'm not doing it, and that I'd rather just do the partial hysterectomy... and this dr is giving me problems about it. With the alternative, I'd still have to do surgery every 2-3 yrs, and it would keep coming back. I told him I was done dealing with the pain, and I'd rather have it all gone. So yeah... I'm kind of at a decision point right now. |
 Well at least you still are alive and kicking! I really hope all goes well and your doc stops giving you a problem with your decision. I understand what he sees, but at the same time there is a point at which he needs to shut the up and respect your wishes. |
