Those were only $100 thank you :o I got them on sale at a Barney's outlet. Pretty awesome seeing as how the retail price was close to $300 :p

lol does that make you feel really important wearing $300 jeans? they look identical to the guess ones my man got at marshall's for $40. :stongue: |

It makes me feel important that I got them for so cheap :p
Guess makes good jeans too, I've had a pair or two from there. It's hard for me to find jeans that fit properly length wise because all my height is in my legs :(
Buying expensive denim pays off in the long run, they last much MUCH longer than their cheaper alternatives. I've had those for about 4 years now. |

while I'd never drop more than $100 on a pair of jeans I do have to agree with you that the more expensive brands look nicer and hold up a lot longer than cheap ones. if you can get some $300 ones for a hundred bucks thats a great deal |

I walked into a guess outlet last year and they were having a sale. 2 pairs of their $100 each jeans for $64!! I couldn't pass that up. |

i agree too about the whole quality argument. but i refuse to spend $ on them. it's all overpriced and only about brand names and for what? to impress people/feel important?
anyway i'm all about bargain stuff and rarely splurge and spend the full price for stuff at the mall. maybe if i made more money i would but i'm too practical at this point in my life. i think it has just come with age.
i have lots of cute stuff that isn't really a popular name brand and the material is awesome and feels expensive and it was like under $20. |

Buying what you can afford has nothing to do with practicality. It has to do with your means. People who say "I'd never buy a $5000 purse" are idiots. You wouldn't buy it NOW because you can't afford it, but if you had the means and it wasn't a big deal, you would be buying it.
And wtf is with people and assuming that just because you buy the expensive brands that you are trying to be important? I know plenty of people that buy this stuff and aren't all ing snooty about it. I am sure Bas and others do too. |
