Yeah, Kookaburras are in the Kingfisher family. They're actually the world's largest Kingfisher (by weight, anyway. I think there's one in Thailand or somewhere that's slightly bigger in size).
We have a family of tame ones that come around every day and get fed. 2 of them will eat straight out of our hands. ing hurts when they accidentally grab my fingers :stongue: |
