This is by far, the best thing about public transit. I ing love it. So funny sometimes.

Growing up in Sacramento, that is basically how it is. It technically exists, but it is total . Pointless to even bother. |

When I was living in the District, I would actually ride the bus on the weekends just for the hell of it. Grab a good book and ride down Connecticut Ave. on the L2. Lots to see, and easy to get off and explore parts of the city you wouldn't normally go.
Virginia buses kind of suck though. Everything's all same-y, and very few interesting neighborhoods or cafes. |

| We have ONE bus line, which they just cut all the routes so now I think it goes on only 13 or 17 routes or something like that.... in a city who's span goes basically 1 hr 20 min wide, 1.5 hrs long (including all the outskirts which are considered Orlando - basically from Deltona - Kissimmee). Public transit my ass - I have never ever seen a bus in my area! There IS a bus line that will take you to UCF - BUUUUUUUT you have to live in UCF housing or affiliate housing. |

That sucks, but I know the feeling. Most of southern California is the same when it comes to public transit. Unless you are in downtown LA, not much really to see to check out. |

Ahh well that is worse than Sacramento. They do have a lot more than that. And mind you, I lived in an unincorporated part of the county. So, I had it pretty . |

Each line runs every 10 min. in rush hour; every 20-30 in non-rush times.
And that doesn't even count the five metrorail lines that run through downtown. |

lol... I understand it just fine- that's what's so depressing (about most of them). Those people don't want to tell some white guy dressed nice about their ty life stories, and I sure as heck don't want to ask them. Naturally, you have the exceptions that will talk to anyone who looks at them, and that's fine... but on a 20-60 minute subway trip, I'd rather listen to my ipod. |

| I didn't really mean it literally. All it takes is a second to consider that there's a whole picture to each person, and I find that very interesting. Even watching people interact, or not interact, is interesting. I just like thinking about it in my head. Not actually asking each Joe Schmoe their life story. :p |

and, UCF is way the out there too... Orlando isn't a big enough city for a solid public transportation system. They just started running a light rail system here in Charlotte and it's really nice, but most of the time I pass by them, the cars are virtually empty. I've used it like 3 times, because there's a pickup spot near me and I knew those days I was going to be out downtown getting drunk. |

haha! I definitely like to watch the interaction. My brain unconsciously developes it's own theme about what's going on based on the music that's coming through my headphones at the moment. Quite amusing at times. |
