of wind). all i was trying to say was that its very obvious to me that the predominant belief exists that a woman has to appear as thin as the model posted earlier to be considered remotely attractive, and that this societal construction is detrimental to the self-image and health of a lot of women. yes there are those who are naturally thin, and then there is the majority that are constantly driven to strive for an unattainable goal. point is just that somehow through media the 'prototype' for a 'hot' woman in the popular mind has been molded very specifically to be a near emaciated model. i'm skinny too, i mean thats what ive been teased for since middle school, and i know i eat right etc so it doesn't worry me and never really has. its just those that feel compelled
