hey guys...have any of you owned fish? i have had the same fish (green severum) since 1995. it was 1 year old when i bought her so that makes her 9 1/2. anyone owned a fish for this long? i can hand feed her and she is pretty big aboout 8 inches. she can recognise me when i walk in the room, and she flips when a stranger walks in the room. has anyone owned a fish like this?
in 1998 i bought her a husband, b/c i wanted to breed her, but the babies came out mutants and did not grow. the husband died a few years back :(.
any PPR's into aquariums? i know its an odd question but my fish is always beside me when i post, as i bought her a huge tank a few years back to keep her happy and it is right next to my computer. |

Awww, I think the fishy is in love with you.
Honestly, Im even shocked that she's living so long, never heard about a fish living so many years. |

yeah, it wouldnt be a good thing to be the one to close the PPR...i think the world would end if someone was dumb enough to get it closed... |

it wasn't the sweetie that was condescending it was the "trust us older TAs ;) " that sounded a little offensive.
but okay sorry. there's another thread where age is being an issue, so i'm still a little worked up.
didn't mean to cause any trouble, and sorry i jumped to conclusions.

lol! i dont even know how old you are!! when i said "trust us older TA's", i meant the ones that had been there longer...trust me, the thing i hate most is when people get a power trip on here...so i def didnt mean for it too sound like that babes!! :D |
