ill post some research links momentarily |
the only reason i disagree with you is b/c my grandmother had cirrhosis and she had maybe about 2 drinks in her life, she just took tylenol everyday of her life and she lived to 75 or 76, i can not remember, that was 11 years ago.
and yes it is different for everybody- but i really believe that it is longer than 10 years, just by other examples that i have grown up around....
i would like to see a link though, b/c i am not sure on this. |

thanks for the link i was a little confused there... i have never heard of DTM before...is this popular over there or new?
hockenheim, the same f1 circuit? |
DTM is reasonably old, from what i know. Same F1 circuit, or at least on the Hockenheim ring, but they might have a different loop. |

well, there are other ways to your liver as well. Let me quote a friend of mine here | quote: | | Originally posted by PatMcGroin:it's called Moderation |

drink water. Water is your friend. It cleans your system, it helps your kidneys flush out gunk and it also helps your liver. |

i haven't been able to find anything satisfactory yet, been trying webmd.com and some other health related sites. i think i misunderstood you though. i thought you were talking about mixing tylenol with alcohol on a regular basis for recreation. that would seem non-sensical to me.
if you were just talking about tylenol on its own, then it'll erode your liver, but not right away. the potential for overdose is even present in tylenol by itself though. notice i say the potential. i think you'd have to take a mug of tylenol to die on the spot, but it will definitely up your liver even in small 'over' doses.
just don't mix the two. they both slice up your liver and thin your blood making the potential for overdose or acute intoxication from either one much greater.:nervous:

i just have known a few people their whole lives mixing and drinking and they did not develop cirrhosis. granted they have developed more health problems than the average 60/70 year old, but these problems did not start until they were older, hence the reason why i think it takes A LOT of abuse, like i am talking over 20 years of not "moderating" and serious abuse.
i do agree moderation is key. |

yea, just drink water and dont worry about it. cold washcloth on the forehead always takes away heat if you're really feelin hot. you'll be fine in a bit :) |

I did not think that Tylenol was thinning your blood. I though only Asprin (acetylsalicylic acid) did that. |
