Yes, my father is German, my mom was american. I Am not sure if she was even a german citizen when I was born. I don't know how long it takes? my brother and I were both born there.

i love this place cuz there's no drama, and i dig the padding room cuz it's a social place where we don't have to talk trance all the time.. that's where i started talking on a normal basis to people like sunshine and stassi, etc...
i honestly don't care about custom status Ian.. sure it's fun and all but if you really think that's all it's about, sorry to say you're wrong.. |

A friend of mine has two passports as well (German and American i think) but i am saying that officially there is no dual-citizenship thing in germany.

well from a personnal stand point
I was born in France but gained American citizenship directly cause the law over there made you become your parents nationality
When I turned 18 I became French.
I am the countries nationality when I am in it ( french in France american in america )
Recently I had to renew my american passport and the papers clearly asked : have you sworn to defend another country since you were issued your previous passport ?
NO.
Meaning I did become french but I didn't swear to defend that country to all means.
One thing I am aware of is that both countries do NOT know that I have the other countries citizenship, hence that cuts a lot of the problems .... but if one day they find out .... I don't know .... :nervous:
I think you should be able to get both citizenships easilly if you fill out all the needed requirements ......
it's really a tricky situation.
