oh that's so funny..they really do pack in cars like that! i have pics to prove it! but afrika has such an aura to it! although my sunburn that i have now says no.
one of the pics must be about zimbabwe....ya know the one with no food sign. i could go on and on but that should be in the political thread. Robert mugabe needs to go!
one thing you will never realise how lucky you have it here until you see what others have to go thru. for example i did a township tour (like ghettos) and one part of the tour they showed how 'populated' their graveyards have become. when i toured there was only one running toliet. the others were buckets where when the buckets were filled..u get the idea.
but i did get a nice feeling out of this tour. as we walked around this township there was a shack and a teenage girl outside dancing to what seemed to be african techno musik. it sounded wonderful and fresh. i wish i asked her the name of the song, but i don;t think she spoke english only Xhosa, which is a click language. but the vibe from that one song was AMAZING! you could hear it from blocks away.
despite all she was happy and outside dancing to the musik (with it's amazing beat) and despite all she was happy. yeah she didn't have much (she was lucky to have elektricity) but still musik is the feeling of life!!
peace
