ooh ooh! Tie Fighter makes me hard in the trousers! yeah, its a bit of a bitch if youre running XP ( you microsoft once again) but the core of the game is there and its still fvcking ace :)
just cant get the battle music or 3D accelerator working....
best game of its genre ever. |

Why is tie fighter a bitch on XP? Don't forget you can download VDMSound or something that emulates the old sound cards pre pci-era (etc, running dos games with perfect sound).

a link would be just sweet buddy! :)
its a bit of a bitch coz for whatever reason it crashes under 3D mode, so im running it in software. havent found a workaround just yet... doesnt really matter coz it was ugly when i first played it 10 years ago ;) |

i havent met a good gamer that hasnt had the occasional tantrum whilst gaming. we used to award "the headphones of shame" to the person with the biggest dummy spit of any big LAN (the headphones were busted in half and smashed on a previous gaming arvo).

man tie fighter is probably my number 1 game EVAR! the updated versions with 3d graphics made it nicer but it didn't have the imuse, omg the feeling when you are getting caned and this star destroyer turns up with reinforcements, and the music changes, it was the best ever. admiral harkov, we have a matter to discuss.... :D :D D: :D :D :D :D |
