i wanna try this one, read previews looks interesting, i haven't played the other one so don't know what its like but the fortress building and create-a-hero look pretty cool so i want to give it a go, but i think our computer is several steps below non-ninja so it might be a while... |

care to explain to me how? its an unrealistic FPS, just like quake is. why does it take any more or less strategy? the only diff i see is Q3 took more skill coz UT is a much slower game. |

you might be able to run the game ultra ugly? its def a game though where you want thing standing out so you can tell your troop types from one another (yes, sometimes i struggle ;))
its a lot more in-depth than most RTS' ive played. sieging a castle effectively can be quite the tactical challenge. and as your army gets bigger it can be really hard to keep track (again, i struggle in this regard).
but i would heartily recommend this to any RTS fan.
btw, the fortress building might be nice on paper, but youll find against an agressive opponent your castle wont be nearly as neat and pretty and powerful as you would like it to be! mine tend to be objects of necessity rather than prestige ;) |

Only games i got into properly were CS, DOD and COD .. was in a few of the top teams for each game until i stopped playing games altogether .. good times. I installed COD2 to try and get into it again but for some reason my ****** computer all of a sudden decided that it wants to make my mouse stop working when there is fog or smoke of any sort on screen .. even after a format. It also wont let me plug other mice into it haha, like i will plug an MS mouse in and nothing will happen .. im stuck with an mx500 forever.
PS - Anf + Cam, CS game. It's awnnnnn. |
