i neeeeeeed to play this! looks so good from previews and videos. it was even banned in singapore for "lesbian intimacy"! although they reversed the ban now. but anyway its a big sci-fi rpg using some version of the UT engine, looks sick.
comes out next week! for xbox 360 though...i'm sure it will be on pc eventually like the other bioware games. but anyway i think it will be really good, im almost up to pkc supcom gushing levels. |

UK, November 16, 2007 - Despite losing it's talismanic front-man to the upper echelons of US politics, the Terminator franchise moves on apace. With the first film in a proposed new trilogy hitting cinemas next year, work on the inevitable tie-in game has already begun.
Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins focuses on the exploits of now 30-year-old John Connor, and Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the film's production company Halcyon will be dealing with the game's development. Halcyon Co. have taken the bold step of setting up their own game studio to oversee production of the tie-in.
Work on the new game, to be released across all the next generation consoles, alongside PC and mobile versions, has been going for several months, the game's developers working closely with the film's production unit to ensure unity across both mediums.
Expect the game to hit shelves in summer 2009. |

Tried the demo of Bioshock. Liked it but I wouldn't say it's the same. I'll probably get it later on when the price goes down but from reading many reviews and what people say about it, I don't think you can compare them. Bioshock is good in it's own way, but not a best game ever contender :P
Never was a fan of Stalker.
ps. I kind of half expected SupCom > Deus Ex from you :stongue: |

oh, i meant only very loosely. but they have more in common with each other than say, the UT, ID, or HL franchises.
stalker was cool, if a little rough round the edges. and bioshock is definitely a contender in its genre, i dont believe in comparing games cross-genre. most stylish and polished game i have ever played.
haha. i loved deus ex. but forged alliance > all RTS ;) |
