Dave's Games atm.
Quake 4 was disappointingly short... just waiting for the mods to start rolling out, some good looking ones in the pipeline atm.
COD2, also disappointingly short, but a massive LAN game insures hours of entertainment.
GTA:San Andreas... bit behind the times in playing this now, but it just lacks the.. fun factor that vice city had, I can't put my finger on what it is.
Anything Steam related just gives the the irrits, HATE steam, want to stab steam till it will bleed no more, makes running a LAN a pain in the ass. |

of course on PC. consoles are for children :p not sure about direct IP. im not at home but ill check when i fly back.

Was making my way through HL2 until the sound on my laptop ed up something aweful. I agree that steam is the worst thing known gamers ever, though HL2 is a ing good game once you finally install it.
Used to be a massive UT/UT2k4 gamer. Anyone else on here from the glory days of UT? I didnt read any of this post so if it's been mentioned stfu.
UT2k4 community is sooooooo ing dead and . God that game was good, it's a shame the people playing it were such whiney kids. |

I played WoW a few months back and thought it was the most boring game ever, all you ever do is run about the place. and the combat! you could just click once, go and make yourself a ham and cheese croissant and by the time you come back your enemy was only then nearly dead. too slow for me.
Played FEAR a month or two ago, I liked it, but youre right, once you played one level, you've played them all... hide, lean shoot, lean, reload, lean, shoot... etc.
pck, how is x3? i'm thinking of getting it... looks pretty sweet :D
Mind you, I've been having compulsions to reinstall System Shock 2, probably one of my all time favourite games ever. Oh and I wish Red Alert played on windows XP, there's nothing that comes close to that game, no frills, just nail biting war. I love that game, it's awesome how much you can really just hold on for dear life playing it and somehow just hold on... lol, those were the days... :D:D |

to be honest i havent even installed it. its got a huge learning curve im not ready for right now :( plus, its got ridiculous bugs apparently (there is a patch now however). im gonna wait to see how many patches are released etc and pick it up when perhaps the probs have been addressed. looks like a fantastic game otherwise however. |
