Bought Portal this morning and finished it 10min ago. Best $20 ever spent :D
Suuuuuuuuch a good game, especially after the fire. I thought the end was near but it was AGES away.
So simple yet so effective. Loved every minute of it and glad to get some cake at the end :mrgreen:
ps. I disagree that the cake is a lie |

haven't you seen the videos? you chase yourself....
i dunno if it would be 'so much better' than hl2, its just a little add on that adds a twist to normal fps gameplay i reckon |

well its official mario galaxy is absoultely banging (...says me :p)...what a quality game, they've turned the use of the wii's hardware up a notch and the gameplay is amazing. 10.5/10

Guys you have to play it and finish it to understand it. If I even try to explain it to you I will ruin the story for you. It can be done in a few hours and I definitely reccomend it.
If you look at all the reviews on the net, Portal has become a cult classic. People are saying it could be game of the year which for what is essentially a slick tech demo is amazing. You know how sometimes a game is that good that people discuss it for ages and break down the story completely (like in Deus Ex)? Well this is it and it's only 3 hours long! :eyespop:
Get it. Play it. Finish it.
Then show your love for the Companion Cube :D |

Of course I know. What kind of a fan would I be if I didn't ;)
Here's hoping they revive the series and make it on pc then port it to consoles. If they make it for consoles first it will kill it. |

In other news, a friend just purchased a quad-core computer. That would be awesome; I remember how much I noticed the difference from single to dual core. |

you wont notice much difference (if any) between a dual and quad. |
