I just loved everything about Deus Ex. The story, the characters, the length, the choices, the length, the locations, the real world comparisons, the implications of your actions and how it relates to real life, oh and did I mention the length? The replayability can be added to that too. Only game that I have played more than 10 times.
Half Life is good but was too scary for me lol. I'm not a fan of freaky games like that, which is probably why I'm a bit hesitant about getting Bioshock (plus it's too short of course :rolleyes: ). I'm such a bitch :stongue:
I need to get Supcom and give it a good whirl. Even though I'm kind of a bit over RTS' now, I'm still keen to play a good one.
Anyone that loved Deus Ex gets a thumbs up from me for recognizing greatness when they see it :D |

haha! yeah man, when i used to work 6am shifts on a friday @ good ol kmart, id sit up all night til i had to go, playing deus ex. one of my flatmates would be in the room, also playing deus ex. great title. never actually played the sequel though.
i love the "freaky" games. doom 3 was stressful to play. i had to take breaks from it. but im a bit of a girl when it comes to that ;)
AvP :nervous: :nervous: ing scary. i never found bioshock particularly scary (because i felt tough relative to my environment). just oozed style and polish. mood, atmosphere, sound, variety in weaponry. imo it really achieved every single thing it set out to achieve. i thought the respawn was a bit gay (so just played with a quick load) but otherwise cant fault the title at all. one of the few titles that deserves its popularity.
um, supcom can be a little daunting at first; but with a bit of patience (and watching replays off the server, which is awesome btw!) its true beauty will reveal itself. haha. it is certainly different, at least to anything ive ever played (i never did get around to playing TA).
not sure about the singleplayer campaign(s) though. but forged alliance is only $50 and you get to play with all the factions in skirmish.
oh, a really nice PC isnt essential but would be nice ;) |

I thought FA was an expansion though?
I've got a Geforce 7950 GTX, 2gig RAM, Core 2 Duo, so graphics will not be an issue ;) |

deus ex and HL 1&2 were the best single player FPS's i have played

standalone expansion. you can use all races in skirmish or the campaign, but only the new race (seraphim) online. if you wanna use the other races, you have have the original (or at least, an original key).

yeah, i saw the stats. what a crock. any list that includes a game released in the last couple of months gets no respect from me.
anywayz everyone, my copy of forged alliance is sitting at the airport about to be loaded on a truck. i have not been so excited over a game's release since the mid 90s. pump the up. |
