I like the South Park ep about guitar hero thats about it.
Yer, Far Cry 2 = major fail.
CoD 5 is awesome coop, and speaking of South Park again, the latest episode they are all playing it at the start. |

haha nah its not a full beast as i have already spent a fair bit on toys and gadgets this year so i pretty much went for the "bang for buck" route
E8500 + 4850
didnt see much point in spending more for a 4 core that wouldnt be used to its full potential very often (if at all). from what i read E8600 only slightly outperforms the E8500 for a significant price increase.
also just couldnt afford the extra dosh for the 4870.
it'll do a good job for a couple of years at least |

yer, thats the same system as my mate got.
I went the quad core because i actually get huge benefits from being able to run 4 simultaneous analyses on my data at once. Oh and converting a movie to x264 compression is done in under an hour :)
but 4850 + that cpu will run everything thats out now, and like you said, for a couple of years :D |
