I gotta go against the grain on this one dude. I can't STAND Russell Brand. He's one of those people where I just don't get why people think he's funny or why he has a career at all (sort of like Tracy Morgan). And now he's about to ruin a ing classic from the 80's by playing the lead role in the remake of "Arthur".

I mean, look at this ing garbage!!!!

Have you seen the original? Good stuff. This is going to be a major flop- hopefully ruining Brand's acting career.
Moongoose
I was of the same opinion, but then i watched him on The Big Fat Quiz of the Year and i got it. Still cant be bothered to watch any of his moies, but thats just because i think most movies today suck anyway.

So instead i have a collection of about 50 spy movies from the cold war era waiting to be watched in the next few weeks.

WHAT THE .

Tracy Morgan is never, ever acting, that is why he has a career.

+1

the guy is a terrible actor.

i watched 'cedar rapids' the other night.

it has it's funny moments here and there. there are time i really wanted to laugh, but i couldn't. don't know, but i just had this sinking feeling watching the film. all in all, a solid 7/10 film for me.

good to see isiah whitlock hasn't let go of his "the wire" character. :stongue:

Fixed

And as for Russel Brand, he's hilarious. Get him to the Greek was my favorite comedy of last year. He seems to fit that Arthur remake just fine to me, although I never saw the original.
