Finally watched Requiem for a Dream last night. Pretty good film.

Oh man Pirhana 3D is total B grade awesomeness. So much unnecessary T&A, excessive gore, and cameo by Eli Roth. Excellent trash/no brain required flick. :D

Oh, also Christopher Lloyd. :gsmile:

Perfect movie for what it is. If you liked this, definitely see Machete.

I want to mention the most outrageous part of the movie, but don't want to ruin it for everyone who hasn't seen it :wtf:

Hahah, yes I almost gave it away. :toothless

Just finished watching Berlin Calling a few minutes ago. I quite liked it in all its drug fueled randomness.

i watched it for the first time a couple days ago..i really enjoyed it. and i think the soundtrack is spectacular. one thing i liked about it was the manner in which it handled the drug issue - in a very real way that most drug movies, even drug-culture movies, are unable to accomplish.

I thought the score was absolutely awesome, too. And you are absolutely right about the way it portrays the drug use and the manner in which it is used. No other movie matches it.

It's on Netflix and Amazon. It is an independent film, though. So that is probably why you are having a hard time finding it?

My estimation of that movie has gone down over time. Now it seems over-sentimentalized, almost tacky, and ultimately kind of insubstantial.

Then again, I have not seen it in a couple years, so perhaps I would change my mind if I watched it again.
