was really good. not sure why it got low ratings on imdb and rottentomatoes.
i quite enjoyed it.

It's not as drastic as Requiem, but it is heart-wrenching. I'd say the only thing the two movies have in common is that they're both about addiction and you watch the characters descend deeper into it. The tone of each movie is completely different, though, and there's also hope at the end of Shame. Requiem just left me a bit depressed.
I think you should see it, it's quite beautiful. Prepare for some long shots, though, I know you don't like them much.

Watched Underworld Awakening, do not recommend it, very cheesy lines and stupid like guns running out of ammo then 1 second later amazingly there full again.
