Since i cant seem to like anything recent i decided to go searching for quality stuff back in the past. The french never disappoint.

I dont have a list of my top 5 favourite movies, but if i did i would need to bump one off to make place for this one.

Looks great.

I just finished watching Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Certainly better than I expected in many ways. I recommend it for what it is: a good absurd vampire action slasher.

I thought Lincoln (not the vampire p.o.s.) was pretty dull. Daniel Day-Lewis was great as always, for a movie based on dialogue, the script was less than it should have been. Tommy Lee Jones' character had some good lines, but for a guy whose whole career now is based on playing old dudes, he played up the geriatric role wayyy too hard. There was one scene of him just sitting there all but screaming "I"M OLD!! LOOK AT HOW GODDAMN OLD I AM!!! I'M THE SALTY YET WISE OLD GUY!!".

This looks good but no English subs out yet :( If anyone finds something please let me know.

I'm genuinely interested in how you came up to this conclusion. Granted I haven't seen, nor do I have any interest in seeing it, but I thought Paul W.S. Anderson was a work of the devil or something.
