Piranha 3D is the goriest movie I remember seeing. Pure and blood, and it does it so well. Might have to go again while it's still in the theater :D

rewatched an old classic

Rosemary's Baby

this movie was definitely ahead of it's time(1968). a great suspense thriller that is light years ahead of current movies in this category.

just finished watching Death Proof, Kurt Russell was ing awesome in this movie!

quote:
Death Proof is a 2007 American thriller film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. The film centers on a psychopathic stunt man who stalks young women before murdering them in staged car accidents using his “death-proof” stunt car. The film is a tribute to muscle cars, exploitation, and slasher film genres of the 1970s.

my name is khan

despite the ungodly length (it's a bollywood film) i found it really entertaining. it's about an indian muslim with asperger's syndrom living in san francisco how 9/11 affected him/family and his quest to meet the president. it's very much a fairy tale but nevertheless good film.

Probably my favorite Tarantino movie. Saw it in the theater while very altered. Probably the most fun I've ever had in a movie theater.

*cue obvious joke*

Did not get great press reviews after being presented in Venezia, where Arofnosky actually won 2 years ago with The Wrestler.

I'm thinking of watching Rendition, is it worth it?

watched brick on fri night. neo noir but set in a modern day highschool. i thought it was pretty clever and the dialogue was fun. it didn't have spaceships in it though so i can't speak for its overall quality, but definitely hooked me.

Saw Machete tonight. ing owns. Pure comedic levels of violence, sex, and overdone cliche 70's B movie shots.
