Wathced 3 films by Gaspar Noé: I Stand Alone, Irreversible, and Enter the Void.
If you're into some dark, heavy, pretty nihilistic stuff, I recommend. Great cinematography and music, as well. His movies are not something you're likely to forget about for quite some time.
Awesome. I'm a huge fan of his stuff. It's very unique and innovative. You should see his film "love" as well. It's lighter than the others but still very powerful. There's many scenes in his movies that feel so much more powerful and real than other movies imo. Also love has got 3d cumshots.

I've seen it. Yeah, his stuff is very powerful and pretty damned bleak. Very different than most movies, in general.
I liked Love, but I think it's targeted more towards a younger audience - nevertheless, it is powerful and very realistic, indeed.

I watched Secret in Their Eyes.
Nice movie (remake), but I had some difficulty recognizing the flashbacks.

Spotlight is a tour-de-force; Respect.
The Revenant is God-awful; rubbish, Leo could have won 'The Aviator' - Long Time ago. This film was simply painful to watch; no substance in the dialogue - DiCaprio is over-the-top. What were they thinking?
The Martian is suprisingly good, in spite of Matt Damon - douche on Mars. Lol. Jobs was excellent, he should have won Best Actor, but who am I to choose the WOscars.
I endured watching 'Our Band is Crisis' with Sandra Bullock, and while her performance was atrocious, the screenwriting is primo though.

I watched The Hobbit movies. Although I enjoyed them because I'm a big Tolkien fan something was off about the movies. I'll have to reread the book. The dialog especially in the last movie seemed bad as the star wars prequel.

PJ went all crazy ass action movies with these. I know his adaptation of the Lord of the Rings trilogy strayed from the novel at times, but The Hobbit film trilogy was egregious.

Picked up The Hateful Eight on Blu-ray today. Now I just have to find the requisite 3 hours to devote to my love for Tarantino. :D

I loved Jennifer Jason Leigh's performance in this.
