Anyone else with me when I say the Syfy channel needs to stop making movies immidiately?
I highly recommend Syfy channels Mysterious Island when you are just about ready to shoot yourself.
Bull aside,
Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson was one of the greatest biography/documentaries I have ever seen. It has led me to purchasing 4 of his books in a week.

Watched Underworld Awakening, do not recommend it, very cheesy lines and stupid like guns running out of ammo then 1 second later amazingly there full again.
i enjoyed it, it was more or less exactly what i expected it to be but with more action.
did anyone watch "the iron lady?" i heard so many bad things about it so i don't understand how streep could have won an award for that film.

I just watched Machine Gun Preacher, I thought it was really good!
I watched 'spring, summer, fall, winter...and spring' again the other day. I took much more away from it. What a beautiful film. I had done ecstasy the night before so I cried frequently. I needed that. The girl loved it as well.

This documentary has been making it's rounds in festivals the past couple of months and got some buzz in the news today because the MPAA wanted to rate this film NC-17 due to the amount of profanity. It's scheduled to be released sometime next month, most likely March 30. Unfortunately I missed the film when it made it's stop here but I heard good things about this film.

Academy enjoys bad films and likes to give awards to actors playing historical figures. This isn't new.

I'm sure I'll get flamed, but Attack the Block ing sucked. Zombieland and Shawn of the Dead this ain't.
What a waste of time it was... Perhaps the worst movie I've seen in recent memory. For someone who enjoys quirky dark humor brit flicks, I've only been this disapointed by Rockenrolla, and even that was orders of magnitude better.
, utter ty disappointment.

His review of 'Attack the Block' was hardly anything but a couple of blurbs and a comparison to Rocknrolla, Zombieland, and Shaun of the Dead, which clearly this movie differs in comparison to the other 3. I'll just take it with a grain of salt. :o
