I wouldn't even go as far as okay. I might be a little biased as I have an issue with "psychics", and I had somewhat expectations having Hopkins in it. 5/10 at best.
Bridge of Spies was good. It has Tom Hanks and that makes it safe. Not the most suspenseful story, but solid nevertheless.

Yeah, I noticed a lot of variation in reviews. My expectations weren't very high so for me it was like between 6 and 7.

Watched "Prisoners" a couple of nights ago. Very well done. I didn't even realize 2.5 hrs had passed, so that's saying something!

Just finished The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Not sure why it bombed, I thoroughly enjoyed this one! Hope they make a sequel.

I wasn't blown away by The Revenant. It was good, certainly virtuoso on a technical level (although rather in love with its own virtuosity) and Tom Hardy stole it for me, but I'm not sure why it's a shoe-in for every Oscar going. There's not really a lot going on underneath all the blood and snow and Di Caprio doesn't really have to do much beyond being convincingly agonised for most of the film. And am I the only one getting bored of him being tortured by feverish dreams of his past in every goddamn flick?
