If you watched (and liked) Eastbound and Down, you'll like Foot Fist Way. Very similar character.
infinity HiGH
Eastbound and Down was pretty funny

Just sa it last night, best part is when hes hitting on the student in his office. I think that was the most awkward movie scene ive ever seen lol.

Rofl yeah. When he tries to kiss her repeatedly and she keeps swerving away. Lmao.

Robin Wright's performance in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee should not have gone unnoticed by the Academy. She was terrific. As was Maria Bello in a supporting role.

Solid film.

This movie had an interesting impact on me. I walked out of the theater absolutely hating it with a passion. It made me uneasy, uncomfortable and the entire time I watched it I wanted to smack him and call him a ing moron for being so stupid and hanging onto her.

It wasn't until late last year that I realized why I felt this way; I was him at one point. My first real "relationship" years ago had so many similarities to what he went through, and the movie brought a lot of the emotions I had felt back up to the surface. I knew exactly how it would play out from the get go, and I wanted to try my hardest to stop him from putting himself through that because I knew exactly how he was going to feel. It was at that point that I actually really, really appreciated the movie.

I just watched this, and ing wanted to kick the character because I was in a similar predicament a bit over 4 years ago. God am I glad I learned.

Although Eva Mendes might be reason enough to watch any film.

hated it. nic cage is washed up. anyone who says his acting was fantastic in this particular film is blind, deaf, and a moron.

worst line of the film, that i immediately think of when i think "bad lieutenant"

"i'm gonna pop a cap in yo ass.. til the break 'a dawn!!!"

I liked it quite a bit. Nicolas was great at being a total sketchbag cop, I was quite surprised. Maybe its because he wasn't really acting.

lol

except hal. he's just a moron. :p

I had zero interest in seeing Bad Lieutenant until I saw someone on another board with a quote from the movie as his sig. "What are these ing iguanas doing on my coffee table?"

I'm telling you all. See the original with Harvey Keitel.
