I don't know about time out, but you'll likely be suspended in a few hours. |

Thats not a pubescent blanket generalization, it is the essential difference between the republican and democratic platforms when you get down to basics.
|
As soon as you elevate past the basics, give poppa a holler. |

How stupid are you? You can't believe that I can come to the conclusions I do UNLESS I only get my source of news from right wing sound bites. You don't know about what I read, and what I know. You just assume. The fact that you believe my interest in all this is shallow and superficial demonstrates how ing arrogant you are about your ability to perceive people. |
Dude... I think you hit the repeat button.
| quote: | | Rezko: Hmm, where to begin? Well for starters, he just got convicted on 16 counts of fraud and corruption... and he's the same guy who raised over $250,000 for Obama through 2004 when Obama was associating with him. When Obama wanted to buy his current house, he needed another buyer to come in with him to purchase an adjoining lot. Enter Rezko, who despite having all sorts of legal and financial problems at the time, comes up with $125,000 in a down payment and qualifies for a $500,000 mortgage in order for the Obamas to get their home. Turns out that Rezko got the money from shady Iraqi financier Nadmhi Auchi, after meeting Obama at a reception thrown by Rezko for Auchi to meet the power clique in Illinois. |
Ok, RJT asked you to explain how any of this implicates Obama in anything. Hindsight is 20/20.
| quote: | | The John Edwards story: It was a wonderful, all american story of success from nothing, a man solid to his core in ethics and family values that sounded enchanting... people wanted to believe in it, the same way they want to believe Obama is a new type of politician never before seen. It's such bull. |
John Edwards is a Democrat. He has a compelling story. Barack Obama is a Democrat. He has a compelling story. John Edwards' story is less true than first thought. Barack Obama's story must be less true too.
The Miami Dolphins are a football team. The New England Patriots are a football team. The Miami Dolphins blow. The New England Patriots must blow too.
Same logic bro.
| quote: | | William Ayres (and sidekick wife Bernardine Dohrn): Memebers of the Weather Underground anti american group in the 60's... bombed the pentagon, the capital, and other buildings. On 9/11 Ayres stated that his only regret about his past is that he didn't do enough, in regards to bombing, than he could have. Dohrn recently praised Manson for his killings and said "Dig it. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them. They even shoved a fork into a victim's stomach! Wild!" Obama served on a board with him (Woods foundation AFTER his comments that he wished he did more domestic bombing), gave speeches with, accepted donations from, and kicked off his political career by going to Ayres house to get his blessing. |
Yep, a bonafide accessory to the terrorist acts committed when OBAMA WAS EIGHT YEARS OLD.
| quote: | | ACORN(the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now: Obama worked for them as a "community organizer" and legal representative. So of course, they warmly endorse his candidicy. Last July, ACORN settled the largest case of voter fraud in the history of Washington State, as well as being implicated in similar voter fraud schemes in Missouri, Ohio and at least 12 other states. A few months ago, Philadelphia elections officials accused ACORN of filing fraudulent voter registrations in advance of the April 22nd Pennsylvania primary. And a new whistleblower report from the Consumer Rights League claims that Chicago-based ACORN has commingled public tax dollars with political projects. |
An organization Obama worked with fifteen years ago is implicated in a crime committed recently? God forbid an IT guy from Enron ever runs for office.

Please do.
| quote: | | So, lets see... I copied and pasted that quote, had to re-search for the quote from Ayres' wife because I couldn't remember it verbatim, and needed to find the name of Rezko's Iraqi financer. The rest is pretty much out of my own thinking brain and based on the hundreds if not thousands of alternative and main stream media reports I've read every day for the last, who knows how long. It's all truth too, not opinion. So, professor, I want you to tell me how his associations with those people are no big deal? I can virtually predict how you're going to blow off all of them like they're no big deal. But to me, the company one keeps tells of their character. |
No, you didn't copy and paste anything, because it made even less sense than usual. |

:stongue: ...because you know what I read and where I get my info. You don't, so how can you make that claim? It's all assumptions and speculation, which you constantly substitute for fact. You are still stuck thinking that i MUST have minimal/bad/incorrect information if I don't come to the conclusions you do. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back at how seasoned you think your comprehension abilities are. |

We've already had the "in the defense of Rush Limbaugh and other radical right-wing radio hosts" discussion. Please let's not do it again. |

Who gives a when he did it. He hold the same radical beliefs today, admittedly, and Obama has the association with him as an adult in politics knowing where he stands. Substitute McCain and Eric Rudolph for Obama and Ayres and see if you think you’ve got a story the media might take some interest in. If you must, imagine that Rudolph’s been reformed when all the key incidents occur. |
