I've decided to randomly bump this thread all day today in the hopes that HTP will return and quote any of the posts I've made in order to cite them as evidence that all Mexicans and women are going to lynch Obama once he officially gets the nod, which will pave the way for McCain to just walk into the White House, meaning that in general once Obama gets the nomination, the American people will just say "Meh, we don't really need an election - you just have fun, John!"

The backstory is hilarious though -
After playing the Cavs a few weeks ago and holding LeBron to like 20 points, DeShawn Stevenson declared that LeBron is the most over-rated player in the NBA. Controversy for a little while, but died down until everybody realized the Wizards would play the Cavs in the first round. So before Game 2, a reporter asked LeBron if DeShawn has gotten in his head with the insistent taunting at all. LeBron laughed, and goes "it's kind of like if Soulja Boy took a shot at Jay-Z. Soulja Boy may have had one good moment, but Jay-Z is the greatest ever."
Well, despite the domination the Wiz received in Game 2, that didn't sit well with people in DC who were pissed at LeBron's arrogance. Like you can be the greatest ever but you're not allowed to call yourself that.
So DeShawn calls up Soulja Boy and gets him a front-row ticket to the game near the Cavs bench. After the third quarter, the Wiz go to interview Soulja Boy on the jumbotron, but play the Supaman song instead, which he dances to. But in the middle of the dance, Soulja Boy starts staring into the camera and doing DeShawn Stevenson's "I can't feel my face" taunt. Crowd goes crazy, timeout ends, and first two baskets after the break are three-pointers by Stevenson, who then jogs down the court doing the "can't feel my face" taunt in front of LeBron both times.
Stevenson finished with 19 points, James with 20. Wiz won by 36.
Hilarious, though I think we've provoked a giant. |
