I'm interested, please elaborate :)
(I know you're being ironic, by the way) |

Sweden's centralized government provides a tremendous amount of services to the general population, which is viewed by most as a huge reason as to why there is virtually no poverty there. |

Were you actually able to read through his (robstar) entire posts?
:conf:
I've just not really encountered to many "true believers" (read: people in denial) this election season, to get one all the way from Sweden was a bit surprising. |

I just read "Ron Paul is awesome yadda yadda" - that was enough for me to know that robstar is either A. off his rocker or B. completely uninformed about American politics and the ramifications of any of Paul's platform. |

Dude. You've gotta read them word for word - if only for the laugh, seriously, there's just something that I think gets lost in translation in the whole thing that was just very, very funny to me for some reason.

I really suck when it comes to political philosophy (and politics in general), so excuse me for my ignorance.
But, why do libertarians oppose a welfare state? |

Lol - nice one. In any event, when you do read them - just imagine any random borderline racist comedy sketch about random immigrant X in America.
I thought it made it funnier. |

because "taxation is theft".
it promotes "laziness" and rewards the least deserving of society. |

Lord knows Sweden is actually in shambles right now because of such systems of "taxation" - such a poor state things are in over there, I almost understand why they are crying out for the sweet embrace of such level-headed, libertarian policy.
