Add to that the best managed campaign in history and you got yourself a breath of fresh air. I don't live in the US, but I'm happy to no end that you guys made the right choice not only for your own country but what's best for the rest of the world.

+1 was never into politics until this election.

I actually agree with you, I've kinda felt that way for a long time now. However, if a candidate didn't put on this big show with their campaign and dump large amounts of money into getting themselves out there, would they be able to get anywhere near a victory?

I feel like Obama has good intentions and will be very good for this country, I just can't see him turning around and "destroying" America as so many people seem to think.

As someone who lives and breathes this stuff, I'm perhaps extremely biased. That said, this was an extraordinary campaign.

Meh, I'm not overly excited. I'm in' proud a group of people got together and did something right for once.

^^^^^ It just sounds funny... although I reckon I too am a bit too happy for someone who isn't even in North America :p

yeah that, plus, what else is he going to do when he wins?

"Thanks for your votes - the country sucks right now, and half of you didnt even want me here, many of you want to kill me. I can't make any crazy promises but thanks for the opportunity."

lol

so yeah, i guess his speech is appropriate. also he's got to start riling people up so they start buying houses, stocks, and trinkets so that he can start his presidency off on the right foot.

Why does it sound funny? Because my flag is red and white with a maple leaf? I plan on moving to the states so this election meant a lot to me. I probably wouldn't have cared as much if I wasn't but I still would have been all on it like white on rice.lol

Besides, just because you're not American doesn't mean you shouldn't care about what went down at 11:00pm ET.

Too many people don't care. I'm hoping this speech and presidency will open up doors around the world.
