Why do you think that? |
Because I don't think there are all that many people still left out there who believe that they can even get along with one another, Hilary has damaged her own reputation beyond repair with the lies and propaganda she's perpetuated (and been busted on) during this primary cycle, and in general because she is a raging bitch who is only out for her own interests and gives all about anything or anyone other than herself (which should be painfully obvious to anyone who's paid attention the past few months).
If you were looking for some objective reason as to why it would be necessarily the case that an Obama/Clinton ticket would be political suicide for Obama, you're looking in the wrong place. :p |

So "No Quarter" is the blog that has been peddling the "Michelle Obama whitey tape" rumors nonstop for the past few weeks. They have just made the prediction that the "devastating" alleged "whitey tape" will hit the airwaves tomorrow:

Here comes the credibility test for No Quarter. Will their prediction turn out correct? |

RJT:
You have this notion that politicians are normal human beings that have trouble hiding their emotions.
They are liars, cheats and thieves the lot of them and even if Obama and Hillary hated each other they will work together to an extent to ensure that Bush V 2.0 isn't elected.
I hope he doesnt pick her as VP, rather, secretary of some sort, perhaps of Health given how passionate she is about the health care system, then again, the repubs. might nail them on wanting universal health care, so I dont know. |

:wtf:
I'll agree to disagree on all of that save for the "they are liars, cheats, and thieves" bit - which I already know full well.
I'm picking my liar, cheat, and thief knowing full well what I'm getting myself into. And I don't think that Obama/Clinton would ever work, regardless of how well either of them are capable of "hiding their emotions."
I am not so naive as you seem to think, Alex, I just don't feel compelled to overstate the obvious in a conversation where it's already been acknowledged repeatedly that politicians suck. I've picked my horse knowing that all along. |

| I wasn't reaaaally saying you were naive, but more that you seem to think hatred between politicians will prevent them from working together. I doubt it will, they probably wont be on the same bill, but they will have to work together to some degree if Obama wants to walk away with this thing. |

To be fair, it was one sentence of a longer, hate filled rant at Hilary, but I'll stand by it. Not only do I think they are absolutely incapable of getting along with one another, even for the sake of the presidency, beyond that I just don't think they're electable as a team, nor do I personally want to see such a candidacy. I also really don't think the publics response to such billing would be anything short of utter shock and confusion - it wouldn't make sense, and if anything, would make the utter shallowness of American politics so much more transparent than it already is that even the most die hard of idealists would be forced into acknowledging the worthlessness of our elections. |

I agree, if he takes her as his VP he'll be going against one of the biggest ideals in his campaign, that of being less predictable and having a mindset of CHANGE.
But despite all her nonsense and being a total bitch from hell, she has her uses, it's a shame that a lot of the Obama supporters now just hate her with a passion and can't see how valuable she COULD be, NOT as a running mate but as some other form of campaigner. |

Hillary has a hard time with the word "team." In fact, when she was in the White House with Bill, she was his #2, not Al Gore, as it should have been. More often than not, Bill was going to Hillary for guidance, especially as the years went on. And from what I've read, she made sure it was that way, and started early. This is just what I've gathered from my readings about the Clinton administration, but it seems pretty clear to me - she doesn't know how to play with the other kids on the playground. |

I don't think she's anything but cancer at this point, and over the next few months you're going to watch countless dems put more and more distance between themselves and her.
I think we just completely disagree as to her value, I see nothing positive to gain from her - but then again, I probably also qualify as an Obama support who passionately hates Hilary, so grain, salt, etc. :p |
