lol... wtf? Today is the last day he should make statements like that. Obama would not have got elected without whitey. There is no relevance to those comments today in America, as proved by who just got sworn in. |
I personally took it as a comment that racial segregation may have finally come to an end (reason why it was relevant). But, I'm a foreigner, I'm not there, and I was more surprised by the fact that I could grasp the meaning behind his words... how old was that guy? He had the worst diction ever :p |

If nothing else, I think Obama has reached out and engaged a generation. |
Yep, the Myspace/Hip Hop generation. |

:stongue: I was thinking the same thing. I think he's 134 years old. |

Who's on Myspace aside from teenage girls and forty year old guys pretending to be teenage girls? Oh, and Nostalgic. |

Yeah. Never mind the fact that Obama's got a Facebook account (is he even on MySpace?) and these are his favourite songs:
- Fugees - Ready Or Not
- Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
- Bruce Springsteen - I'm On Fire
- The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter
- Nina Simone - Sinnerman
- Kanye West - Touch The Sky
- Frank Sinatra - You'd Be So Easy To Love
- Aretha Franklin - Think
- U2 - City of Blinding Lights
- will.i.am - Yes We Can
Not exactly the hip-hoppiest of all charts :p

Actually, I think he's the first African-American reverend in the History of the US. They probably undied him for the occasion, and he must have redied soon after that.
You see, this is why Obama is made of distilled epic win: what other president had a zombie reverend make a speech for him on the inauguration day? No one, I bet! |

Man, no ... like every other word required a dramatic pause. |

She was a poet,
Boring and minimal like,
Sven Väth's haikus. |

Don't mind him, he doesn't know what "middle ground" means. |
