This monumental return to the world famous venue coincides with the XTRAVAGANZA record label''s 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
After a 4 year hiatus, XTRAVAGANZA returns to Ibiza on Thursday, June the 15th and ALEX GOLD himself will once again take to the stage with the first of his weekly residency, showcasing his now legendary, 4 hour sunrise sets.
The return of XTRAVAGANZA to Ibiza becomes more remarkable when you consider that ALEX GOLD, one of the original Ibiza pioneers and head of the infamous XTRAVAGANZA record label disappeared off the scene in 2003, after a near fatal paragliding accident. After a long and difficult recovery, XTRAVAGANZA and ALEX GOLD are back!
Prior to his accident, the XTRAVAGANZA night was one of Ibiza’s biggest, attracting huge crowds to the PRIVILEGE venue, including a memorable night in August 2000 when Chicane and Bryan Adams were flown in to perform the XTRAVAGANZA label’s no.1 hit ‘Don’t Give Up’ to over 8000 up for it clubbers!
ALEX GOLD has produced or been involved in over 55 UK top 40 hits during his impressive career, including the above no.1 hit from Chicane and Bryan Adams, and has clocked up record sales of over 5 million! Together with XTRAVAGANZA he has worked with a number of highly influential artists including; PRINCE, CHUCK D (Public Enemy) MARIE BRENNAN of Clannad, PHIL OAKEY of the Human League and ANNIE LENNOX (ALEX GOLD produced a blistering remix of ‘In To The West’ by Annie Lennox, also the theme to the blockbuster ‘Lord Of The Rings’). In the transient world of music, a 10th Anniversary for a label is definitely something to celebrate and for ALEX GOLD, the perfect way to celebrate the success of XTRAVAGANZA, is to ensure that it becomes a permanent fixture in Ibiza once again!

tja...wir waren last year (dies jahr übrgens auch jippie) im fiesta club playa den bossa - genau schräg gegenüber... und sind au nie im space gelandet... irgendwie ein komischer laden und was erst morgens aufmacht da trifft man bestimmt eher leutä die nimmer viel mitbekommen.... :conf:

Space war ich ein paar mal, kann mich nicht mit anfreunden und kann die 50,- für mich besser ausgeben auf der insel.

Ja das Amnesia war toll, toller Laden und hat mächtig Spaß gemacht...
Wo wollten wir eigentlich auch noch hin? Penelope? Kann das sein? Diese Frau da in der Bar meinte doch, dass der Laden auch was für uns wäre, wenn uns das Amnesia gefällt und das Pacha nicht. |
