So I got off the phone with my friends in NYC today and they were telling me how they had 10 people who were going to fly out from the NY area to come out for this event but have instead cancelled everything and instead are going to wait for Electric Zoo because there is no lineup while EZ has their lineup up and has a Techno stage as well. Had EDC released the lineup already there's a good chance they'd be coming out.
I know that's only 10 people, but I'm only 1 person, I bet there are other people that have friends doing the same thing. I'm sure there are hundreds, if not thousands of people all over the country making that same decision.
After that phone call, it looks like I'm going to EZ too! |

| The truth is they probably just don't have everything worked out yet. I imagine that the amount of bickering going on regarding billing, timeslots, etc must be insane, so they're holding off on publishing until everyone gives the OK. Not really an excuse though, given the speed at which other festivals get their together. Insomniac seems to need more staff to deal with this because they're clearly losing money by taking so long. |
