If it was the box of the best newest shoes, but I didn't know what exact kind, sure. Everyone knows already what you're getting though, it's not really a secret. But if you are that anal where you need to know every detail then be prepared to pay more. I call that the retard tax. |

You also are forgetting that I may buy a ticket for Friday but all the DJs I want to see are on Saturday. Should I be required to buy a 3-day pass just in case? |

LOL...i have friends who already have a room, so thats not gonna cost me much.....its just airfare, which wont change much in that month i dont think......i just like to know what im paying for... |

I agree that there will be some DJs that I like at EDC, but they may be scattered across many stages and on different days.
Last year I only went to Saturday because I did not care for Friday's lineup. That could happen again this year and I am not going to buy a 3-day pass just in case. |

Not in mine. I, for one, don't like the headliners and didn't like the lineup at Beyond Wonderland. It did nothing for me.
TAO was "meh" at best outside of two artists for me. I went to do something for New Years with some friends, and that was my primary reason for going, since San Diego was pretty devoid of things I wanted to do at all when TAO was occurring.
Monster Massive... well that was a joke of a lineup and didn't pull any interest from me at all.
Ultra... I can say again I'm not a fan. There are a few names on a few stages that interest me, but the overall lineup these past two years is more biased than I care for.
My fear is that after a fairly stellar lineup last year, this year will be filled with styles I don't like. That's what I'm afraid of the lineup, because most of the past year's worth of music has been to me. I hate the current crazy house movement outside of Afrojack and Luke and Axwell (not the SHM stuff, his own stuff.) I really don't like Electro and I hate dubstep. They've said nothing of other lineups on other stages. That worries me, and I feel that worry is heavily warranted in that I'm not liking a lot of what's coming out. |

If the goal is to save $ then why don't you buy the 3 day and get it shipped? Worst case if you don't like the lineup or just can't go, you can sell on ebay, craigslist etc. ?
I know it can be a tad annoying especially if you get a buyer that doesn't pay, but I guess that's the price you pay for trying to save $.
Its funny, people will stay at a cheaper hotel to save $30-$100 bucks a night, but will lose $100 at a blackjack table in 5 minutes. Last couple times I've forked over a little extra to stay at the nicer places like Cosmopolitan, Aria, Encore/Wynn, Bellagio and The Hotel @ Mandalay Bay.
Is $100.00 up or down in life really gonna make you or break you? |

^^^^exactly. Money becomes almost of no value when you're in vegas. You win/lose them so fast. Back at home $100 may be a lot of money to me, but in Vegas? LOL it's barely couple hands of minimum bet for me when I play roulette. |
