| Marquee's lineup during EDC nights are only Chuckie and Roger Sanchez. Not a fan of either |

| i don't know why everyone is so worried about the talent.... i'm sure the lineup will look just like EDC has in years past or Electric Zoo or Ultra.... of course we'd all like to see more names announced and plans are being made or cancelled based on that info, but we all know the final lineup will be packed with djs you guys like. |

| Almost all my friends already gave up going this year due to lack of funds and tickets selling out. I'm kinda bummed about it since those reasons aren't even related to lineups =/ |

yup, unless you find someone who bought a 3 day pass and dont want to go on Saturday.
Or...you buy a 3 day pass and loan it out for fri/sun.
or...buy saturday VIP for $200 (lol) |

I'm sure the production values will be very high, but you don't "know" that the final lineup will be packed with DJs that we like.
If the tickets were $40 and the venue were an hour driving distance away then yeah, the lineup being delayed wouldn't matter much. The patron who finds the lineup marginally interesting hasn't lost much time or money.
But for me (and others), if I am going to pay ~$100 for a ticket plus travel costs, then I don't want to take the chance that the lineup will be marginally interesting to me... the lineup better be something that I am very interested in and so far I don't care for the three headliners.
Apparently a lot of people are willing to take the risk that the lineup will be interesting to them, and that's fine. My friends and I don't have a lot of vacation time and cash to risk not being satisfied with the EDC lineup. |

There will be like 100 djs there. Is 1 dj really gonna make or break it? Look at the Ultra lineup and there's 90% of it. I'll make sure to say I told you so in a month. |

don't get me wrong... i see no point for holding off on releasing what djs have been booked... i'm sure 90%+ of the djs playing already have contracts in place.... i can only assume this is a marketing tool... one that seems to be working fine for them.
i'm just saying based on Insomniac's track record with this and other events, at least from a talent standpoint i see no reason people should believe they won't be happy with who is there... |

actually... lol.
again, i'm not saying this isn't kind of silly they haven't released the info... i totally agree with that issue. some people here are saying they are worried about who will play and not enjoying themselves.... that fear is baseless IMO. |
