We're thinking of coming in from NY for EDC but we're not real comfortable forking out the $$$ with only a couple of names to go on. We also can't afford to pay top $$$ for tickets if we wait too long :(

For sure. A long set from Digweed would be epic. Chris Lawrence is one of the main reasons we'd come, he's a god in our circle. We see him at every Pacha when he plays here but we're bugging to see him somewhere like EDC. |

| yea i caught some of the set last year. shouldve completely skipped deadrat5. bt had a visually nice set with the spiral thing. in terms of sound, i really liked the new album so im pretty biased on that. |

It looks like they are having free water refill stations...that's a relief at least.
Surely, they won't have it so only those with "official Insomniac bottles" can refill their bottles?
From the EDC Website in the FAQ section:
Q: Can I bring water bottles into the event?
A: You may bring official Insomniac water bottles (empty upon entry) into the venue. Free water refill stations will be available to you inside the venue. Insomniac water bottles can be purchased at the festival or online here: Insomniac Water Bottles. There will also be bottled water sold inside the venue. |

Because of the no-lineup release my entire group (total of 12 people) aren't going to EDC.
So I guess my whining carries the weight of 12?
I'm amazed they are selling out their tickets, but who knows they might only be selling a very small amount to try to hype it up "oh wow we sold out every ticket*!!! better raise the price!"

If it's like coachella, they are basically big waterfountain stations (lots of fossets so to speak) and you line up (cluster) to fill up whatever container you have
e: also this is insomniac, as if they are going to hire staff to fill up water bottles for people, it's going to be self-serv for sure i would bet...

See if you can get a good rate flying with Jet Blue or Virgin from JFK...or you may even find a dirt cheap flight with Southwest from EWR with 1 stop.
I'm sure you'll like the EDC lineup. Worst case you'll go to day and night parties at Marquee, Encore Beach Club, Wet Republic etc. |
