the EDC dev site is up and names are getting pulled off it pretty fast.
Wonder if Insomniac is going to have an actual live electronic stage this year because they've booked Royskopp, Empire of the Sun, Sub Focus, Bassnectar and Glitch Mob all live. A techno stage seems to be forming too, they've booked Umek, Richie and Plastikman, Victor Calderone and Gaiser. |

Tweekers? EVERYONE needs to be vigilant in the state of NV if they have any 'bad habits' as the law there is unforgiving. There is no...please just put that out....or go straight back to our hotel and sleep it off. That will lock you down in a heartbeat... |

| So are all the stages going to be inside the speedway, or will the area around it be used? If they are all inside, won't the music from one stage interfere with the music from another stage? |

That whole press release sounded to me like them trying to calm down everyone's enthusiasm because the lineup likely won't be as good as other 3-day massives.
I'm not saying it's going to be terrible, but if was going to be like Ultra or EZ, they would have hyped the hell out of it, instead you get:
"gearing up for a soundtrack that features all the heavy-hitters while also fostering the most inspiring up-and-comers.
Electric Daisy Carnival is more than a music festival, it’s an experience."
In other words, "Remember guys, it's not just about the music! Please remember that when we release the lineup! Also, up-and-comers are suddenly important to us now! We have fair rides and , too, that's what the ticket price is for, right? Yeah!" |
